Breast Augmentation

This is a 32-year-old female with complaints of hypomastia or small breasts. She desired fuller breasts to enhance her overall appearance. She did not want to be too big but did want to create natural fullness. The patient’s planned procedure was bilateral breast augmentation. She chose smooth round saline implants, which were filled to 400cc, placed via a periareolar incision in the submuscular pocket. She was extremely happy with her result and felt that her outcome was exactly what she desired—a natural looking enhancement. She experienced very little discomfort, requiring pain medications for about a week and was able to resume normal activities in one to two weeks.
