- Evaluation of general medical conditions, medications, allergies, surgical history, family history breast cancer, history of smoking, alcohol or drugs

- Fat transfer breast augmentation procedure is an outpatient procedure performed under general anesthesia
- Depending upon how much liposuction is being performed, the procedure takes between 60-90 minutes
- Liposuction is performed on areas of unwanted fat deposits. Liposuction fat is processed and transferred to the breasts to create a naturally enhanced and rejuvenated breast
- Compression bra and abdominal binder is placed
- Do NOT place ice on the breasts which would injure the fat grafts
- Patient is usually seen 24-28 hours in office for dressing change and allowed to shower at 48 hours
- Light activity including car driving and lifting <10 lbs 3-7 days
- Full activity at 7-10 days
- Swelling and bruising 7-10 days
- Final results at 6 weeks with 50-60% fat graft retention
