This is a 44-year-old female who had left breast cancer treated in the past with lumpectomy and radiation therapy with axillary dissection and biopsy. She has local recurrence with positive margins that required a mastectomy. An immediate reconstruction of her left breast was coordinated with her mastectomy. Her reconstruction was done with a latissimus dorsi myocutaneous flap and saline implant insertion. Her saline implant was filled to 390 cc; approximately one year later a fat transfer was done to the left breast as a revision to a small defect. About a year and a half after her original procedure she had nipple reconstruction.
