Breast Reconstruction

This is a 49-year-old female status post left mastectomy seen for reconstruction of her breast. A latissimus dorsi myocutaneos flap and tissue expander was completed at the first procedure. Following the procedure the tissue expander was filled to prepare the breast for the second stage of the reconstruction. The second stage of the reconstruction consisted of removing the tissue expander and replacing it with a 400 cc silicone gel implant.
