Basal Cell Carcinoma
87 year old Caucasian female with a non-healing wound on her leg. Patient was being treated for a suspected venus ulcer by her primary care physician and a wound care center for approximately a year with no resolution. Biopsy came back positive for Basal Cell Carcinoma, a form of skin cancer. Patient was treated with excision of the lesion and a skin graft for complete resolution.
